Pendekkar Karen is an international presenter of self defense training for women and girls and has led workshops for schools, colleges and community groups throughout Europe and the United States.
In 1993, Pendekkar Karen's extensive work as Kids Program Director for One With Heart in Portland Oregon, USA, was featured in the New York Times Magazine.
